Comments on: Video: Google Webmaster Tools

I have a question reqarding Google WMT: when I look to my keywords in GWMT, the top 10 are only prepositions and conjunctions like (at, for, which, to etc.). How can I get rid of those and let the nouns be on top?

Does embedding video in a webpage increase it’s position in the Google SERP’s?

I no longer trawl the web looking for the secrets to high SERPs – instead I follow the basic rules together with striving to become as much of a resource as possible for my visitors.

I’ve recently committed to producing quality video for my websites but I sometimes wonder if all of the effort will increase the traffic Google send me.

I have found that my webmaster tool external link and indexed pages have stopped updating since 3 weeks. I also found many others are complaining google webmaster tools informaiton updating issue. How can I solve this problem please?

Hi Matt,

Google Webmaster Tools seem to lack of freshness…
The “links” part looks more than two months old for a lot of people, and the “GoogleBot crawl stats” graphs stop in may.

Google has obviously been pushing webmasters towards these tools… but where is the interest if the data is obsolete?

It might be good to learn what is going on

I’v been using the Google Webmaster tools for a while and was very happy until recently. I’m not sure why, but Query Stats, Links, & Page Analysis isn’t updating on my sites: http://www.theezycatalog.com & http://www.theezygolf.com. The golf site is showing it was last crawled on Apr. 13, 2007. Do I need to delete these site and re-submit, or is there another fix to the problem?

Any help would be appreciated. I used to use these tools everyday.

I suggest that Google Webmaster Tools displays an update PR every day (a more exactlty page rank, with ranges)

Really a very nice tool, but the sitemap function is useless, I think. The sitemap files have no effect.
