SEO Lookalikes

in Web/Net

How did I miss SEO Wife, the blog of Barbara Boser? Barbara is doing a very funny list of “this SEO looks like this celebrity” posts, e.g. Todd Friesen looks like Brendan Fraser.

In that spirit, I’d like to say that I think David Naylor looks like Nick Frost:

David Naylor Nick Frost

Fookin’ yeh, right? I haven’t watched Hot Fuzz yet, but I was watching Shaun of the Dead a while ago and kept getting DaveN flashbacks. :)

Matt

Was that a hint that DaveN need to go on a diet :)

Just in case you haven’t heard of it, I’d throughly recommend the TV series “Spaced” if you liked Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz :-

Harith, I think Dave is slimmer than Nick Frost myself, so nope — it wasn’t a hint. I’m a big believer in worrying less about how heavy someone is and thinking more about being healthy regardless of size.

How about Michel Martinez, pictured here: http://www.michael-martinez.com/ and David Gest of Liza Minnelli fame. http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/archives/000263.html

(Not that Michael is nearly as strange or had the surgery David Gest has)

Vini April 17, 2007 at 4:45 pm

Hey Matt, I think you too have a lookalike… That “MFA expert” Joel Comm looks very much like you :)

Danny Sullivan April 17, 2007 at 5:46 pm

Peter Kay, Matt, Peter Kay is his twin, a UK comedian:

“most americans”

Keniki, explain the success of Borat in the U.S.

Michael VanDeMar April 17, 2007 at 6:39 pm

Wow, nice job she did on those. :)

I don’t agree with all of the matchups, but the Jane Copland/Charlize Theron one was dead on… can’t believe I missed it before.

Reminds me of my Adam Lasnik photo comparison contest, with Danny Sullivan ’s flickr picture, but proper cred given.

Hi, keniki. 10 comments in a row is annoying. Deleting most of them. Don’t drink and comment. :)

feedthebot.com April 17, 2007 at 8:41 pm

JLH, I am rather proud of my “Adam Lasnik finally unveils the Google phone” comment on your above mentioned post : )

Harith April 17, 2007 at 11:58 pm

JLH & feedthebot.com

Talking about Adam Lasnik!

He is celebrating his first anniversary in GOOG.

Please wish our dynamic nice friend Adam: “Happy Googleversary!” :)

RE: “Keniki, explain the success of Borat in the U.S.”

Define “success” :)

Aaron Shear April 18, 2007 at 1:10 am

Séan April 19, 2007 at 1:05 am

DaveN… That is pretty unfair…. Though I can see Matt doing something similar.

“Look into my eyes. Look into my eyes. The eyes. The eyes. Not around the eyes. Don’t look around my eyes. Look into my eyes… You’re under.

Ok – Stop spamming you dirty blackhat SEO you.”

Séan April 19, 2007 at 1:21 am

Matt..
Unrelated I know. There used to be a pdf called “Google Tips_Tricks.pdf” that I downloaded back in April 06 (version1.4). I just went to find something similar and cannot – other than http://www.google.com/help/cheatsheet.html which doesn’t have things on that I know exists, like: “inurl:” etc.

Lord Matt April 19, 2007 at 8:01 am

Ohhh I just had a “spaced” (UK thang with him in) / “saun of the dead” flash back. That is uncanny.

Jenstar April 19, 2007 at 11:30 am

Funny, when I was out in the UK for Seodays, Dave and I watched Shaun of the Dead together… he was doing his best to educate me on the brilliance of British comedy movies… and I must say I never once thought of that resemblance, lol.

Brian Turner April 23, 2007 at 3:33 am

Danny’s Peter Kay seconded – I can’t watch his shows without thinking of DaveN. :)

Perhaps that requires medical attention… ;)

Deb April 23, 2007 at 10:40 pm

martial April 24, 2007 at 6:06 am
