I bought my first Dell 2 1/2 years ago. It is now a server running Linux. I bought a Dell 7 months ago that came with XP. There was no Linux option at that time. I recently put Linux on it. It was a nightmare. I could not find a distro that had the right NIC driver and video driver. Finally I was able to get Fedora Core 6 to install. With a factory install these problems will not occur. A nice apt-get type of distro would be nice.

I own 3 Dells. I bought my first Dell 2 1/2 years ago. It is now a server running Linux.
