I am not nearly as clear as everyone else seems to be on the utility of tweeting. tweeting is so fleeting.

Matt,

"Emmy is doing well after she had surgery last Friday."

What was that surgery about?

Wish you a speedy recovery, Emmy girl!

Matt Cutts writes an entire blog post about how he is going to get back to tweeting soon. Wouldn't it just have been easier to tweet?

Also - what is that analog reading device I see in that picture. What century is this anyway? ;)

"Sometimes I think Twitter steals energy away from blogging."

No offense, and I think you're pretty cool, but that is about the saddest thing I have read on the Internet lately. After all, blogging is what people do that steals their energy away from proper writing!

Take care!

Sincerely,
-danny

Gav, thanks for the suggestion. We actually had a kitty fountain, and I completely agree that cats drink a lot more water that way. Luckily, Emmy is doing well after she had surgery last Friday.

My favorite part about this photo is that you can see the holes from Emma's claws right underneath the photo. Reminds me of my cats, but unfortunately those holes often end up in my shirts!

Hey Matt,

Saw your cat had Kidney stones - often caused by them not drinking enough water. Try getting a kitty fountain (as they like to drink from running water), or simpler leaving water in a few different places around the house in little bowls, they like to hunt for the water and find it - so keep them guessing and it replicates their natural instincts. Keep the water fresh too! You'll be surprised how much more they drink, and it keeps the little critters healthy.
