Also, the new impact of social feeds in Google search I am sure will have a significant impact on data refreshes. When I was at a Dolphin's (NFL) game this year I was able to find out about a player injury quicker on a Google Tweet feed in results then by asking people around me in the stadium. How Google knew to switch the search result for the Quarterback to the Tweet feed? My guess is the algorithm is sophisticated enough to study social patterns. You all studying seismic patterns at Google? Sure seems you can detect social earthquakes and respond with a search shuffle. Cool stuff!
