Busy few weeks

I’ve been out of town (hiking in Yosemite and traveling to the East Coast) for two out of the last three weeks, so things are a bit crazy. Besides the usual email overload, there’s a project at work–not related to webspam–that will need some attention for the next 4-5 weeks.

I’m triaging email as best I can, but don’t be surprised if you don’t get a response from me. Likewise, I’m planning to decline non-essential meetings for the next several weeks. I just wanted to give folks a heads-up.

oh oh, but matt, please reconsider, 4 to 5 weeks on another project means that the webspam team will be headless for 4 to 4 weeks.i already see the spammers selling links to small kids after church on sunday, malware hackers infecting old ladies electronic toothbrushes and well, just image how GoogleWebmasterHelp videos will look without you (i made a mockup sad pic (beware my mad gimp skills)) – so please in the name of us honest webmaster, please reconsider – oh and while you are chilling, i have this tiny, small and lovely question posted at the google forum http://goo.gl/0G5v3

What do you think about what I have done with Google Maps on http://www.milliondollarearth.com? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Welcome back … the next time you do a live video conference … could you set out a schedule ahead of time … watching a recording is fun but being there live and being able to pop a few questions would be awesome. Thanks.

Hi Matt, just out of curiosity, did you manage this trip aches and pains free?

Trying to see if Matt can give information on video snippets. Working on very short video topic to teach dental students at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. want to write a research paper and currently producing short videos 1- 5 m in long describing elements of treatment or laboratory projects. Because of the small space in patients mouths only a very few students can “crowd” around to see what is going on. These videos would be a front row seat. There are video showing procedures but most 30- 70 min. long and put me to sleep. Looking for information on how long to people student stay on a site to what ever you can think may be helpful. I think the key is lots on choices and short. I am right?

Hi Matt-

How was the trip?

I’ve been considering to head out there for a while all the way from the UK as it seems such a nice place. Would you say it’s worth the travel?

I always very hard to balance having the time off work and then catching up on what I have missed. always the problem of being a 1 man band.

I have found the e-myth a very good book on how to set uyour business up to run with out you or by someone else but I have not got the time to write that manual…

Glad you had a good time
